Purpose of the application

The purpose of the application "Wina Wigs" is to let Wina Wigs employees manage the Google Ads accounts that Wina Wigs itself owns, through the Google Ads API.

Specifically, the application exists for these four purposes:

1. To report on advertising performance — retrieving campaign, keyword, search term and placement statistics from our own Google Ads accounts so staff can review them weekly.
2. To exclude low-quality ad placements — identifying placements where visitors leave almost immediately, and excluding them so advertising budget is not wasted.
3. To add negative keywords — filtering out irrelevant searches, such as people looking for hair salons rather than buying wigs.
4. To upload offline conversions — most Wina Wigs orders are completed in store or by telephone rather than on the website, so completed orders are sent back to Google Ads to measure advertising results correctly.

The application is an internal command-line tool used only by Wina Wigs employees, on computers controlled by the company. It is not a product, it is not sold or distributed, it has no public interface, and it cannot be used by anyone outside Wina Wigs.

Mục đích của ứng dụng "Wina Wigs" là để nhân viên công ty Wina Wigs quản trị chính các tài khoản Google Ads do Wina Wigs sở hữu, thông qua Google Ads API.

Cụ thể, ứng dụng được xây dựng cho bốn mục đích sau:

1. Báo cáo hiệu quả quảng cáo — lấy số liệu chiến dịch, từ khoá, cụm tìm kiếm và vị trí hiển thị từ chính tài khoản quảng cáo của công ty để nhân viên rà soát hằng tuần.
2. Loại trừ vị trí hiển thị kém chất lượng — phát hiện những vị trí mà người xem rời đi gần như ngay lập tức, và loại trừ chúng để không lãng phí ngân sách.
3. Thêm từ khoá phủ định — lọc bỏ các truy vấn không liên quan, ví dụ người tìm tiệm làm tóc thay vì mua tóc giả.
4. Tải lên chuyển đổi ngoại tuyến — phần lớn đơn hàng của Wina Wigs được chốt tại cửa hàng hoặc qua điện thoại chứ không phải trên website, nên đơn hàng hoàn tất được gửi ngược về Google Ads để đo đúng hiệu quả quảng cáo.

Ứng dụng là công cụ dòng lệnh nội bộ, chỉ nhân viên Wina Wigs sử dụng, chạy trên máy tính do công ty quản lý. Ứng dụng không phải sản phẩm bán ra, không phân phối, không có giao diện web công khai, và không ai ngoài Wina Wigs có thể sử dụng.

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords	To read reporting data from, and apply campaign changes to, the Google Ads accounts owned by Wina Wigs (694-687-0224 and 303-203-2321, under manager account 789-355-4672). This is the only scope the application requests.

How this application handles Google user data

The application signs in with a Google Account belonging to a Wina Wigs employee and accesses only the advertising data of Wina Wigs' own Google Ads accounts. It does not access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, or any other Google user data. It does not read data belonging to any other person or organisation.

Data retrieved from Google is used solely to produce internal advertising reports and to apply the account changes listed above. It is stored locally on company-controlled computers, is never sold, is never shared with third parties, and is not transferred to any other application or service. Access tokens are stored locally with restricted file permissions. Customer phone numbers used for offline conversion matching are hashed with SHA-256 before transmission, as Google requires.
